I wouldn't put too much stock in what the API reports because usually after an upgrade/patch they don't bring the API back up for at least 24 hours afterwards.

I had a similar thing happen but it turned out to be a routing error because I had linked an extractor to a processor and on to storage instead of extractor to storage and on to a processor.
